From Ed at Stoveworks
2 16oz Cans Pork and Beans, Drained
3/4 Cup Blues Hog BBQ sauce (Regular or Smokey Mountain)
1oz Golden Raisins
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
3 Strips uncooked bacon cut in half (may substitute 2 tablespoons butter or margarine)
1/2 Small onion
1 Tart Apple, peeled and chopped
Mix all ingredients but bacon together in a 2 quart baking dish. Top with stirps of uncooked bacon. Bake uncovered in a preheated 350 degree Big Green Egg for 1 hour. For a smokey touch, add some Sugar Maple or Sweetwood chips.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
